Kim Porter of Rochester, NY has joined Merritt Estate Winery to help design, organize and sell Merritt’s highly sought after holiday gift baskets. Porter formerly worked for Casa Larga, a winery in the Finger Lakes wine region in New York creating custom gift baskets.

Merritt Estate Winery has been making gift baskets for several years with for local individuals and businesses. The baskets would typically include wine merchandise and Merritt wines. With Porter joining the staff, Merritt is expecting growth with their gift basket program. The new wine gift baskets incorporate various gourmet chocolates and snacks along with wine merchandise. The winery was experiencing high demand for gift baskets prior to their upgrades. The gift baskets can include branded corporate merchandise for companies wanting to use them for employee recognition or a customer thank you, and the winery can even make customized wine labels for the bottles they include in the gift baskets.
